Amy Hittinger

General Manager

The combination of horses and animals with the great outdoors and landscaping is the perfect job for Amy. At Still Water, she is active in the barn daily, helping with the daily operations of the horses, clients, and the grounds. She also looks after the pastures as well as the facilities and equipment. Amy holds a certificate in landscape horticulture.

Amy grew up in Maineville, Ohio where she developed a love for animals early by caring for her own horses at home. She was a member of 4H, showing horses. At 14, she took her first job at a local hunter jumper stable.

With a love for the outdoors, Amy entered the green industry working with her friend (now husband) at his family’s landscape company Hittinger Lawnscape. She worked in the green industry for several years and then landed the perfect job as a private groundskeeper.

As a groundskeeper, Amy was solely responsible for many duties on a 50-acre family farm. Some duties included: property and pool maintenance, bush hogging, mowing, trimming, pruning, tree care, animal care, and pond management. The family loved animals and had several over the years: horses, cows, rabbits, goats, and reindeer just to name a few!

She is very excited about what the future holds at Still Water Farm. Being a part of a wedding venue sounds very rewarding.
